I have a love/hate relationship with foundation. When it works, I love it to death. When it doesn’t work, my whole face looks AWFUL and I hate it. As much as I ADORE my Meow Cosmetics foundation, I decided to give a new formula a try with Bokeh Face’s Featherweight Fantastic Foundation. Since I was ordering foundation, (and was in on the Twitter conversation that spurred its creation) I decided to pick up the Blush in the shade Lotus.
The Featherweight Fantastic Foundation has a very silky formula. I was particularly interested because it has silica microspheres, which impart a soft-focus finish. They can also help with oil absorption. Since I’m so oily, anything that helps with that is a plus in my book. I really can’t say enough about how silky the formula feels – it just glides onto my skin. It wears just as well as Meow, for sure. It doesn’t settle in my fine lines, it doesn’t fade. It has a bit more coverage than Meow’s Pampered Puss formula, in my opinion. I wouldn’t call it heavy though – it buffs out nicely without looking fake or cakey. I’m wearing it in this picture here and here.
The lightest shade is a pretty good match for my skin. It does seem to help cut down on the oilies! All in all, I gotta give this foundation two thumbs up!
Lotus Blush is my current favorite blush. It’s absolutely perfect for when I want a pinkish look to my cheeks without being doll-pink. The lilac shade reads as pink on my cheeks without being actually pink. I love it! The texture is silky smooth and blends like a dream. I want more Bokeh Face blushes. I’m wearing Lotus blush in this picture. Two thumbs up!
I can’t wait to see what else Bokeh Face has in store for us!

Man I can’t wait to try both. I’ve been having a terrible time with foundations, either they break me out something fierce, or they aren’t light enough, OR they’re too pink. =[
Claire! Thank you so much for the glowing review! I’m happy you like them!!
@Manda – it’s a pretty simple formula ingredient-wise, pretty gentle IMHO. I hope it works for you!
@Natalie – you’re welcome! Thanks for making great product!
