My most recent order from Black Rose Minerals included some samples of matte colors that the owner is working on. Get excited, because they are really lovely!! I picked a color called Cactus Flower to play with first, because I’m a sucker for red. It’s a rich, deep red tone, that blends beautifully.

I used Willow from Cargo PlantLovebecause it’s a nice matte taupe-y color. Cactus Flower went in the crease and I used Swan from Cargo PlantLove on the browbone (it’s a matte cream color). I decided brown liner was the best choice.

My lips are my natural color because I keep forgetting to put lip stuff on BEFORE I take my EOTD photos. Doh!! I wore a reddish gloss with this.

What do you think of Cactus Flower? Isn’t it so pretty?

   Oh it is gorgeous and I love hwo you can see a hint of red when your eyes are open!
