Lush Enzymion Moisturizer Review
Complexion, Skin Care - July 13th, 2011

It’s been a while since I’ve used a face moisturizer from Lush, but I was in the market for a new one and decided to try Enzymion. It’s a GO!

Enzymion contains papaya juice, lemon juice, aloe, and lime and grapefruit essential oils. The papaya and lemon are supposed to help with oiliness, and the citrus oils are toning. It also contains cocoa butter and avocado oils to moisturize.

I was worried that it would be too heavy, since I tend to shy away from moisturizers that contain cocoa butter. On the contrary, it has a light feel on the skin, and isn’t heavy or greasy feeling. It’s not any more or less mattifying than anything else I’ve tried – but then I have some of the oiliest skin I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t make it worse, certainly.

I like the way my skin feels – soft, smooth, and moisturized. So far I haven’t had any breakouts from it, so that’s definitely good. I like how it smells too. It wears well under makeup, both mineral and Colour Supplement, a Lush makeup that I’ll review soon.

Overall, I’m pleased with this product! I think it’s a nice moisturizer for oilier skins, and anyone who is combination would like it too.
