I recently received a $60 gift card to Sephora, so today I went shopping!

Me being me, I had to look at EVERYTHING before I finally decided on what I wanted. However, before shopping I promised I wouldn’t buy any skincare or perfume… I have too much of both already! This was a strictly makeup trip!

The Precious Pearl palette from Stila was a strong contender. It *is* really pretty. However, I decided I didn’t love the colors enough to see myself using it very often.

I strongly considered the Glamour To Go 2 Pocket Palette from Too Faced because the shadow colors are all colors I like, and the blush is pretty. I decided against it because I ultimately chose a different palette. I may still pick it up though, perhaps with birthday money… (I turn 30 next month.)

So, I *did* get the Green Goddess Collection palette from Cargo PlantLove. I’ve admired it since it came out, and I think the colors are all ones I’d wear often. Plus, I love that the whole product is Eco-Cert certified. I can’t wait to play with it and share the results!

In a slightly unusual move for me, I decided to purchase the Sweet Decadence Eyecolors set from Bare Escentuals. Unusual, in that I rarely purchase loose eyeshadows, and the colors are a lot deeper than what I’d normally choose. But I couldn’t resist how strikingly pretty they are! I’ll report here if this is a love or regret purchase!
