I recently had the opportunity to try out a new brand, Pevonia Botanica. Pevonia Botanica is a spa line that makes both face care and body care, and the products are super-nice! I had a facial at a spa a few years ago with Pevonia products, and loved it, but this time I got to try the body care.

All of us know (or should know) by now that taking anti-aging skincare will help keep your skin looking younger, longer. But how many of us think about using anti-aging care for the body? Pevonia has a line of deliciously-scented products that fill this need: the Tropicale De-Aging line. The Tropicale products contain ingredients to “repair, restore, and rejuvenate” the skin on your body.

The first product I tried was the Tropicale De-Aging Saltmousse in Papaya Pineapple. This is a combination scrub & cleanser that softens the skin and leaves it touchably soft. Plus the scent is divine! Pevonia says the product “removes impurities and toxins by gently polishing your skin. As the salt dissolves, negative ions and repairing tropical fruit extracts are quickly absorbed.” I say it works great! No poof needed, just lather it up with your hands and massage over your skin. Unless you are particularly sensitive you can probably use this every day.

The next product is the De-Aging Mist in Papaya-Pineapple. This is a hydrating body mist that “replenishes the skin with an aromatic blend of tropical fruits including Pomegranate, combined with Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe, Chamomile, and other natural ingredients.” Use it any time, but especially after your bath or shower, or to freshen up during the day. It’s not a fragrance mist. The scent really doesn’t linger. This would be the perfect product to take to the beach or by the pool, to spray on the skin to prevent dehydration. I really love this after a workout or if I’ve been working outside in the sun.

The last product is the De-Aging Body Balm in Papaya-Pineapple. This is the OMIGOSH product in the line, and also the most expensive. It has the loveliest creamy texture and delicious smell, and contains microemulsified Shea Butter, Collagen and Elastin Polypeptides, Tegospheres with Retinol, Pomegranate, and other anti-aging tropical fruit extracts. It left my skin super-soft and smooth. I think it would be especially good for anyone with sun damage, or who is particularly concerned with aging skin. Love it!

Overall I’m very pleased with Pevonia Botanica and really want to try other products from the line!
