Eyeshadow, Makeup Fun - July 10th, 2009
I had some fun with my eyeshadow today, playing with some Fyrinnae colors, and a MAC pigment. Once I was finished, it reminded me of Rainbow Sherbet, hence the name of the post.
First, I wanted to play with Melty, which is a melon-y shade that is rather pink on my skin. So I put Melty on my eyelids. In a stroke of crazy, I decided to put Sea Otter in the crease. SeaOtter is a medium green with blue highlights and it’s quite bright. But, it came out a lot better than I expected. It’s my day off, so I figured I could wash it off and start over if it was terrible. I used Nijiro under the brow bone, put more Sea Otter on the lower lashline (where it looks very blue!), and decided to use MAC pigment in Blue Brown as eyeliner. Last, I used my L’Oreal HIP Kohl in navy on the waterline.
I think it all turned out pretty good! It’s certainly a fun look for my day off.
